Merging Customers

Merging Customers Overview (begins at 2:10)

Sometimes it might be necessary to merge Customers together.  For instance: a Customer is created in RepZio and you import that Customer into your ERP system and assign it a new CustomerNumber. You will now need to give RepZio the newly updated Customer back with its new Customer Number and merge it with the Customer and Customer Number created in our system. Merging customers handles this for you as well as makes sure their order history moves along with them to the new Customer Number.

Merging Customers in Webmanager

  1. Log in to your account in RepZio’s Webmanager
  2. In the blue toolbar that runs along the left side of the page, click “Customers”
  3. In the expanded list of options under “Customers,” choose “Merge Customers”
  4. Under the “Merge Selected Customers” panel, choose the customers on the left side of the page that are going to be merged
  5. On the right side of the page under the “This Customer” panel, choose the company profile that will remain after the customers are merged
  6. Click the orange “Merge Selected Customers” button

Merging Customers via spreadsheet

  1. Download the Merge Customers template
  2. Fill out the spreadsheet with the OriginalCustomerNumber (customer you wish to merge) along with the NewCustomerNumber (customer you wish to merge to)
  3. Import via Webmanager
  4. Click on the green "Push Data Live" button
