Product Template With Headers Defined

 

The Product Template ("ImportProductTemplate-2013.xls") is the only required template to import products to the Webmanager portal. This template is used to add or delete products, as well as provide details about each product.  Once this is added, you then push it live to the RepZio App.

These headers are generic and must be used to import the data to the RepZio Webmanager portal.  Below we describe each header for you to better understand the Product Template.  Each column is described below. Please note most of these are optional columns and not all have to be completed. 

 ItemID

  • Required column used for uniquely identifying each product- No Duplicates
  • Must be less than 50 characters in length
  • May contain letters, numbers, dashes, and slashes
  • A forward slash or an underscore in the ItemID can effect your images, requiring you to use the PhotoName column
  • Can be used in the App to search for products

 ItemName

  • Name of product
  • The Same name can be used for multiple products
  • Must be less than 100 characters in length
  • Can be used in the App to search for products

 Description

  • Information regarding the product
  • No character limit; provide as much detail as needed
  • Can include pictures and links to videos
  • HTML friendly; bullet points, text formatting
  • Can be renamed in the template settings in the webmanager portal

 Notes

  • Additional information regarding the product, similar to the description field
  • No character limit; provide as much detail as needed

Dimensions

  • Product’s length, width, and height
  • No character limit or restrictions
  • Examples: 8x6x5, 8”x6”x5”, 8in x 6in x 5in

OrderMinimumQuantity

  • A set number dictating the smallest quantity of an item that can be purchased at a time
  • If left blank, it will default to a quantity of 1

 OrderMultipleQuantity

  • A set number dictating the quantity of a product that is ordered at a time
  • Example: Order in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.

 OnHandQuantity

  • Number value indicating the quantity of a product in stock and available to be sold

 Category

 UPC

  • Acts as barcode for product
  • Used to scan product and to create labels

 BasePrice

  • Starting price for each product
  • Must be strictly numeric
  • Can be a wide variety of currencies
  • Can be named anything on iPad

 PriceLevel(1-20)

  • Additional pricing fields aside from Base Price
  • Must be strictly numeric
  • Can be a wide variety of currencies
  • Can be named anything on iPad

  • Used to identify unique factory locations
  • Used when products come from more than one factory
  • Deals with containers and their locations

 PieceBox

  • Number of items that come in one box
  • Example: Case = 12

 Cubes

  • Used for container orders

 Weight

  • How much the product weighs
  • Can follow any system of measurement

 UnitOfMeasure

  • Can be used to describe a value of another field.  i.e. pounds, inches, feet, meters, each etc.

 UDF(1-15)

  • User Defined Fields (UDF,udf)
  • Open fields that can be filled with any data
  • Can be customized to show different names or info on the App
  • UDF(1-5) header must be uppercase (UDF1, UDF2, UDF3)
  • UDF(6-15) header must be lowercase (udf6, udf7, udf8)

 udf(16-20)

  • User Defined Fields are customized fields used for advanced searching on the app
  • The advanced search on the app is based on these udf16-20 & named as you need to help filter products
  • Search results narrowed by the parameters set in these fields can be color, material or other
  • udf(16-20) header must be lowercase (udf16, udf17, udf18)

 PhotoName

  • Left empty, our system will by default name the image with the ItemID
  • This field can be used to rename images
  • Must be .jpg format
  • Do not exceed 2048x2048 pixels

  AdditionalPhotos

  • Name of alternate pictures to be associated with a product
  • Can contain numbers, letters, and dashes (-)
  • Must be .jpg format

 CatalogCode

  • Used for Multi-line accounts
  • Numeric code that defines a catalog in the system
  • Must be unique and 4 characters in length

 CatalogName

  • Used for Multi-line accounts
  • Name of the catalog that will show up on the iPad
  • Will be used to determine one catalog from another

ContainerMinQty

  • Used for configuring Container option
  • MinimumOrderQuantity needed for ordering items in a Container

 IsDeleted

  • Manages which products will show up on iPad using False or True
  • Products marked FALSE will show in the App
  • Products marked TRUE will be removed and will not push out to the app
  • Once marked TRUE, the product will continue to show in the webmanager portal for 45 days (also will show on exports of products)
  • Field is required on every spreadsheet
